Terms of use

Beta service · Version 2026-10-01.beta.1

The service

Lontra helps you conduct research through private AI conversations and analyse the resulting evidence. You choose the topic, objectives and invited participants. AI findings can be incomplete or inaccurate; review the sources before relying on them.

Your account and invitations

Use an email address you control. Keep your sign-in and invitation links private. Invite only people you are entitled to contact for the stated research. Do not use the service for unsolicited marketing, impersonation, harassment or unlawful collection of information.

Answers and documents

Share only content you are entitled to provide. Do not upload credentials or documents you are not permitted to disclose. The organizer can read individual responses and shared documents. Participants choose whether to take part and whether to allow recontact.

Deep Study

Completed interviews and analysed documents can inform upcoming questions. Additional invitation rounds require the organizer’s approval. There are at most three rounds in total. Documents are evidence of their contents, not proof that a described procedure is followed.

Free beta limits

The free service has limits on invitations, interviews, documents and AI usage. Limits are shown in the product and enforced by the server. Access may be interrupted by technical errors, exhausted allowances or maintenance. Paid plans are not currently available.

Privacy and contact

The privacy notice explains processing, access and retention. Accepting these terms does not replace a participant’s choice to take part. The service is operated by Lontra. Contact: hello@lontra.ai.
