How to decide: a two-question test

Before buying any "AI HR" tool, ask:

  1. Is the problem deterministic? If yes (routing, reminders, approvals), automation wins. Do not pay for AI.
  2. Does solving it require interpreting unstructured human input? If yes (engagement, retention, skill gaps), automation alone will disappoint. You need adaptive systems.
