Cookies
You choose what may be measured.
One cookie remembers your answer. What is measured, and when it starts, depends on where you are reading from: the section below says exactly how.

Necessary cookies
The site uses a preference cookie to remember your audience-measurement choice. It is required for the consent mechanism to work.
02
Audience measurement
Google Analytics and PostHog help us understand which pages serve and which do not. Neither is loaded until measurement is allowed: no request reaches Google before that point. Advertising storage stays denied in every case, including after you accept.
03
Two regimes, depending on where you are
From the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is loaded, written or measured before you accept: the bar asks, and declining takes the same gesture as accepting. From the rest of the world, measurement starts on arrival, the bar says so, and one button stops it. Your own choice, either way, always overrides that rule. The region is inferred from your browser's time zone; when it is unknown, the stricter regime applies.

No targeted advertising
Lontra does not use website cookies to build advertising profiles or sell browsing data.

Change your choice
The “Manage cookies” link in the footer reopens the choice and clears any measurement in progress. Your answer is kept for six months. Declining blocks nothing: not the site, not a request, not opening an account.
